About the Role

شركة مرامر للمقاولات is seeking a highly experienced Quality Control Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring the highest quality standards across various infrastructure and landscaping projects, requiring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive development, implementation, and management of project quality documentation, including the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements. This leadership position involves managing the QA/QC team, comprising QC Engineers, Inspectors, Laboratory Technicians, and Document Controllers, to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, contract requirements, Saudi Building Code (where applicable), Ministry standards, and international quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Review and approve Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Work Inspection Requests (WIR), testing reports, and other quality documentation.
• Monitor HDPE butt fusion and electrofusion welding activities, ensuring adherence to approved procedures.
• Ensure the installation and testing of water pipelines, irrigation systems, valves, chambers, pumps, and tanks meet project specifications.
• Review laboratory testing reports for various materials including soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, irrigation materials, and HDPE weld testing.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure the timely closure of any audit findings.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and quality observations, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, laboratories, and project management teams on all quality-related matters.
• Monitor project quality KPIs and prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly quality reports.
• Ensure all testing, inspections, and commissioning activities are completed prior to project handover.
• Maintain complete quality documentation and final handover dossiers.

Project Scope and Technical Expertise

The role requires demonstrated expertise in quality control across diverse infrastructure and landscaping project components, including:

• Earthworks and grading
• Roadworks and paving
• Hardscape works (interlock, kerbstone, concrete, stone works, pavements)
• Softscape works (trees, shrubs, planting, soil preparation, turf, irrigation)
• Irrigation networks
• HDPE pipeline installation and welding
• GRP, DI, PVC and ductile iron pipelines
• Water storage tanks and pump stations
• Valve chambers and utility structures
• Underground utility networks

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control management, specifically within infrastructure and landscaping projects. A comprehensive understanding of project quality plans, inspection and test plans, and adherence to international quality standards are essential for this role.
