About the Role

شركة مرامر للمقاولات is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires a professional with extensive experience in quality management within large-scale construction projects, particularly high-rise developments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring all project activities adhere to the highest quality standards.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, implementation, and management of the project's Quality Management System (QMS). This involves ensuring all construction activities, from reinforced concrete structures to architectural finishes and MEP installations, comply with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and applicable codes. The role focuses on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use tower projects, requiring strong leadership and expertise in successful project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, including QC Engineers and Inspectors across Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, approved drawings, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party agencies.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, inspection requests (IRs), and work inspection records.
• Monitor concrete works, structural works, architectural finishes, waterproofing, façade systems, and MEP installations.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and quality audits.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure continuous improvement of quality processes.
• Monitor testing activities including concrete, steel, soil, waterproofing, façade, and MEP systems.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all quality records.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover activities.
• Liaise with project management, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Prepare quality reports, KPIs, dashboards, and monthly management reports.
• Mentor and develop QC Engineers and Inspectors to improve project quality performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of total experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience specifically in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use tower projects.
• Proven experience with main contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with projects exceeding 20 floors is highly preferred.
• Professional certification in Quality Management is preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred for candidates applying within Saudi Arabia.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a QA/QC team.
• Extensive experience in reinforced concrete high-rise construction, architectural finishes, and MEP coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure successful project handover.
• Experience working effectively with consultants, developers, and international clients.
