Quality Safety Health & Environment Coordinator

About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Quality Safety Health & Environment Coordinator to join their team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on enforcing compliance with QSHE management systems within the region to meet consumer and customer needs through the implementation of QSHE strategies, standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) management systems to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and assess operational risks, supporting the development and execution of QSHE initiatives to mitigate potential business impacts.
• Conduct internal audits across regional operations, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Manage customer and consumer complaints, product recalls, accident investigations, and regulatory matters.
• Deliver QSHE training and awareness programs to employees, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor, measure, and report QSHE performance metrics, supporting the achievement of departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Food Science, Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Health, Safety & Sustainability (HSS), or Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Experience in the dairy or FMCG industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and HACCP principles, with experience supporting their implementation and compliance activities.
