About the Quantity Surveyor Role
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing cost control, measurements, and contract administration for infrastructure and building projects. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for a range of cost and contract management duties, including:
- Preparing interim payment applications, measurement sheets, and cost reports.
- Reviewing contract documents to ensure adherence to cost parameters.
- Measuring completed work and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for changes or additional works.
- Assisting with claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitoring project cost performance and reporting any deviations.
- Evaluating contractor invoices and supporting contract administration processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience on road or highway projects.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
- Proficiency in contract management principles.
- Familiarity with cost-control tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Effective negotiation skills.
