About the Quantity Surveyor Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing cost control, measurements, and contract administration for infrastructure and building projects. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for a range of cost and contract management duties, including:

  • Preparing interim payment applications, measurement sheets, and cost reports.
  • Reviewing contract documents to ensure adherence to cost parameters.
  • Measuring completed work and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for changes or additional works.
  • Assisting with claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitoring project cost performance and reporting any deviations.
  • Evaluating contractor invoices and supporting contract administration processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience on road or highway projects.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
  • Proficiency in contract management principles.
  • Familiarity with cost-control tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
