About the Role

Ericsson is seeking a RAN Feature and Solution Integration Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience in mobile network integration and deployment, focusing on advanced network technologies.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end integration, software upgrades, and feature deployments across large-scale 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks. This role is central to driving complex network modernization programs and national-scale rollouts, with a focus on implementing automation initiatives and deploying cutting-edge 5G technologies. The primary objective is to ensure optimal network performance, service continuity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software integration, upgrades, activation, rollback, and stabilization activities across live networks.
• Drive Feature Node Introduction (FNI) projects, including impact analysis, KPI validation, feature testing, and customer acceptance.
• Develop Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Method of Procedure (MOP) documents, rollback plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Execute large-scale network rollout programs and implement automation solutions using scripting and deployment tools.
• Manage integration delivery, project tracking, reporting, KPI monitoring, and rollout coordination.
• Troubleshoot network issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve service-impacting faults.
• Lead Provisional Acceptance Testing (PAT) and acceptance activities while ensuring First Time Right (FTR) delivery and quality compliance.
• Mentor and guide integration engineers, providing technical leadership during critical and high-risk activities.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders, delivering technical presentations and reporting network performance and rollout status.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in RAN integration, feature deployment, and software upgrades within mobile networks.
• Proven expertise in 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile network technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex integration projects and large-scale network rollouts.
• Experience with automation solutions, scripting, and deployment tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for network issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Ability to develop technical documentation, including LLDs and MOPs.
• Leadership capabilities to mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with customers and stakeholders.
