Role Overview

Daikin Saudi is seeking an HVAC Technician - Industrial Refrigeration for a full-time position in the Al Dar Al Baida District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, with a focus on industrial refrigeration. The technician will work independently on-site, ensuring reliable system operation and high customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and service quality standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for Air-Cooled Chiller, Centrifugal Chiller, VRV & DX systems, Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia Plant), and Commercial Refrigeration.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control faults, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
• Support commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities to ensure systems operate according to OEM standards.
• Identify root causes of system issues to minimize repeat breakdowns and optimize system performance through proper servicing, parameter checks, and minor adjustments.
• Escalate complex or recurring technical issues to supervisors as needed.
• Act as the on-site technical representative, maintaining professional communication with customers and explaining service activities, findings, and recommendations clearly.
• Complete service reports, checklists, and job documentation accurately and on time, recording system data, faults, and actions taken.
• Coordinate with supervisors, planners, and spare parts teams for smooth service execution.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit systems, ensuring safe handling of tools, equipment, and refrigerants.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, service practices, and new HVAC technologies, participating in trainings and applying learned skills in field activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Diploma (ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service, specifically in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and schematics reading.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Familiarity with service reporting tools (manual or digital).
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site service execution and coordination with supervisors and service teams to meet contractual SLAs and operational targets.
