Role Overview

My Clinic KSA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, and implementing nursing interventions in accordance with established protocols and standards. The nurse will assess patient needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and promote patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, documenting findings and identifying care priorities.
  • Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members, incorporating patient preferences, cultural considerations, and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate patient care and facilitate discharge planning.
  • Administer medications, intravenous (IV) therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to protocols, dosage calculations, and safety precautions.
  • Monitor patients' responses to medications, assess for adverse reactions, and intervene promptly to prevent complications.
  • Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, tracheostomy care, and specimen collection, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
  • Provide guidance on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and community resources.
  • Document vital signs, medication administration, treatments, and nursing interventions according to established protocols and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts, following documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend and participate in educational activities and the orientation and ongoing education of new nursing staff.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work different shifts in various areas according to work needs within the scope of nursing practice at My Clinic.
  • Participate as an active member on assigned committees and contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Participate in reviewing standards and policies for national and international accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff by ensuring safe equipment, instruments, medications, and implementing infection control procedures.
  • Perform other assigned duties and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) License.
