About the Role

Mawhiba is seeking a Research Competitions Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to executing operational activities for local and international research competitions. The officer will support student preparation and training programs, coordinate competitions and exhibitions, and meticulously document participation and results to ensure effective implementation and enhance the participant experience.

Student Program Management

• Execute training activities related to scientific research in accordance with approved plans.
• Monitor student attendance and commitment to training programs, documenting their progress.
• Coordinate with trainers to ensure the effective organization and delivery of training programs.
• Collect student feedback on training programs to support continuous improvement.
• Execute student registration and nomination procedures for research competitions.
• Apply approved assessment tools, collect participant data, and document results.
• Prepare initial reports on assessment results and submit them to the relevant management team.
• Coordinate student registration procedures for international research competitions.
• Prepare participant files and required documentation for international events.
• Follow up on travel and accommodation requirements for international participants in coordination with relevant parties.

Competition and Exhibition Operations

• Execute operational arrangements for research competitions and exhibitions, including preparation, organization, and on-site follow-up.
• Support judging activities by preparing the required forms, data, and documentation.
• Monitor participant attendance and organize operational schedules for events.
• Document event activities and operational observations.

Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate with relevant internal teams, including training, planning, and partnerships, to support the implementation of research competition activities.
• Support the implementation of initiatives and partnerships related to research competitions.
• Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders within the scope of implementation and follow-up.

Reporting and Process Improvement

• Collect operational data related to student performance and program activities.
• Prepare periodic reports on implementation progress and operational observations.
• Document participation results and student achievements in approved systems.
• Identify operational observations and propose improvements to workflows.
• Contribute to improving implementation quality based on operational experience.

Required Experience and General Duties

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 0-1 years of relevant professional experience. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage diverse operational tasks effectively.
