About the Role

Aljazira Bank is seeking a Retail Business Planning Senior Manager to oversee the annual business planning and budgeting process for its Retail Banking division. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role is critical in ensuring alignment with divisional and bank-wide strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Retail Banking annual business planning and budgeting process.
• Conduct regular performance reviews against financial and operational targets.
• Provide structured variance analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Liaise with Finance, Strategy, IT, and Retail Banking divisions to coordinate data inputs.
• Ensure the accuracy of planning assumptions and performance reports.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within Retail Banking performance data.
• Communicate insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure timely delivery of all Retail Banking performance reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Report on Retail Banking financial performance, planning progress, and strategic initiative execution to senior management.
• Negotiate with business units on target-setting assumptions and corrective action plans.

Strategic Contribution

This role involves ensuring a clear understanding of the bank's strategic objectives and supporting the achievement of the department's strategy and related strategic plans. Continuous improvement of business planning methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related major is preferred.
• CFA Level I, CIMA, or an equivalent financial planning or management accounting certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in retail banking business planning, financial performance management, or strategy analysis within a banking or financial services environment, or a relevant field, is preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience is required.
