About the Role

Al Hayat Investments is seeking a Sales Area Manager to lead and expand its sales operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on the gym equipment sector, with the primary responsibility of achieving sales targets for the area. The role involves managing and developing a team of sales consultants, cultivating strong client and channel relationships, and ensuring effective coordination between sales and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy and business plan for the Riyadh area to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales consultants, setting clear targets and monitoring performance.
  • Allocate territories, accounts, and opportunities across the team to maximize coverage and results.
  • Identify training needs and support the professional development of the sales team.
  • Review and approve quotations and proposals prepared by the sales team.
  • Lead or support negotiations on pricing, terms, and scope for key deals within approved guidelines.
  • Ensure proper approvals and documentation for awarded projects and signed agreements.

Business Development and Client Management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key accounts, projects, and channels in the assigned area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and decision-makers.
  • Support the team on major or complex deals and step in directly on strategic accounts as needed.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine the area's sales approach.
  • Oversee and support the team's follow-up on customer payments and outstanding collections.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction throughout the sales and delivery cycle.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring commitments are met.

Operational Coordination and Reporting

  • Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams on item availability, lead times, and delivery planning for the area.
  • Ensure a smooth and complete handover from sales to operations for closed deals, with clear scope, Bill of Quantity (BOQ), and requirements.
  • Follow up on delivery, installation, and completion milestones, keeping customers and management informed.
  • Provide regular area sales reports to management, including pipeline, forecast, closed deals, and collection status.
  • Track team and area performance against targets, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales documentation and ensure all updates are reflected in ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in area or regional sales management and team leadership.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Prior experience in the gym equipment or fitness industry is considered a plus.
