About Denodo and the Sales Director Role

Denodo, a leader in data management recognized for its award-winning platform for data integration, management, and delivery, is seeking a Sales Director. This full-time role is based in the Al Dar Al Baida District, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is focused on the management and execution of direct sales within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of experience in enterprise software sales.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As an individual contributor, the Sales Director will drive direct sales initiatives, focusing on exceeding sales targets and expanding Denodo's customer base. This position requires a strategic approach to engaging with potential customers, partners, and prospects, managing the entire sales lifecycle from business development and prospecting to negotiations and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage the implementation of strategic sales plans for the assigned territory.
  • Manage efforts to research and identify customer prospects and targets.
  • Meet individual sales quotas based on corporate and regional revenue targets.
  • Achieve new customer acquisition targets and implement expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with partner channels sales teams to identify, source, and onboard appropriate channel & alliances partners.
  • Drive revenue through both direct and indirect channels.
  • Set and execute customer acquisition strategy across direct inbound and through the partner ecosystem within assigned accounts and/or territory.
  • Develop and actively maintain sales forecasts across assigned accounts and territory.
  • Measure and report the results of sales and plan execution.

Candidate Profile and Required Experience

We are seeking a high-performance candidate with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in enterprise software. The successful individual will possess a solid background in data integration, data analytics, and data management. Demonstrated experience in engaging effectively with potential customers, partners, and prospects is essential, alongside excellent presentation and communication skills to manage the full sales process.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, computer science, or engineering.
  • An MBA is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar sales leadership or direct sales role, with a preference for candidates having up to 10 years of relevant experience.
