About the Role

Peergrowth is supporting a leading flexible packaging manufacturer in Saudi Arabia to identify an experienced Sales Manager Packaging. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key customers across the Saudi market and wider region.

Client Overview

The client has an established presence in the region, offering a comprehensive portfolio of flexible packaging solutions. These solutions serve customers in various sectors, including food, FMCG, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, personal care, hygiene, and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for the company's flexible packaging portfolio.
• Drive revenue and profitability growth by identifying and converting new customer and market opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with FMCG companies, food manufacturers, beverage companies, dairy producers, pharmaceutical companies, personal care businesses, and industrial customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Saudi packaging market.
• Promote and position the company's flexible packaging solutions based on customer and application requirements.
• Work closely with internal technical, production, and commercial teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable packaging solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, customer meetings, quotations, negotiations, order closure, and collections.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
• Manage and grow key accounts while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and increasing customer share.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging opportunities within the flexible packaging sector.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of customer projects and timely delivery of solutions.
• Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, offers, orders, and collections.
• Participate in customer meetings, industry exhibitions, conferences, and relevant packaging events.
• Support the continued expansion of the company's customer base and market presence across Saudi Arabia.

Candidate Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in sales and business development.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of flexible packaging products and solutions.
• Proven track record of business development, new customer acquisition, and key account management within the Saudi market.
• Established network among FMCG companies, food manufacturers, beverage companies, dairy companies, pharmaceutical companies, personal care businesses, and industrial customers.
• Experience handling specification-driven sales and working with procurement, commercial, and technical stakeholders is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi flexible packaging and manufacturing market.
• Commercially driven with strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management capabilities.
• Ability to identify new market opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers.
• Strong track record of achieving sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Saudi market experience is strongly preferred, particularly candidates with an established customer network across KSA.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position, with the successful candidate being based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
