The Role of Sales Specialist (MEC)

Arena Fitness Innovation is seeking a Sales Specialist (Member Experience Crew - MEC) to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to delivering an exceptional member experience while driving membership sales, renewals, and overall revenue growth. The role combines sales, customer service, front desk operations, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Membership Sales & Business Development: Generate new membership leads through calls, referrals, community outreach, and field visits. Convert prospects into members through consultations, club tours, and effective follow-up. Promote membership packages, offers, and services, aiming to achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs. Actively promote personal training, retail items, and other ancillary services, and build relationships to encourage referrals.
• Membership Retention & Renewals: Manage and follow up on membership renewals. Maintain strong relationships with members to enhance satisfaction and retention, and identify opportunities for membership upgrades and additional service sales.
• Front Desk & Member Experience: Welcome members and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude, managing reception operations during assigned shifts. Respond to member inquiries, direct requests to appropriate departments, assist walk-in visitors, and support club communications and daily member engagement activities.
• Club Operations: Conduct regular floor walk-throughs and interact with members. Ensure the club remains clean, organized, and maintained according to brand standards. Support opening and closing procedures and monitor club facilities, reporting maintenance or operational concerns promptly.
• Complaint & Issue Resolution: Receive and handle member complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating unresolved issues when necessary. Maintain accurate records of complaints to support continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Cash Handling & Administration: Process payments through various methods, issue receipts and refunds, and maintain accurate transaction records. Complete membership registrations, renewals, and system updates accurately, maintaining member records and documentation. Attend meetings, training sessions, and company events as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a sales or customer-focused role.
• Demonstrated customer-focused approach with a sales-driven mindset.
• Ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for member engagement and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in cash handling and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Work Schedule

This position offers a competitive salary package, complemented by a monthly commission scheme and performance-based incentives. The role operates on a shift-based schedule, determined by business and operational requirements. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and additional shifts when required is essential.
