Role Overview

Strike IT Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Salesforce Lead Functional Consultant with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. This is a senior, client-facing contract role based full-time onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a major enterprise Salesforce transformation programme. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Position Scope

The consultant will lead discussions on marketing strategy and objectives, translating these into scalable Salesforce solutions. This involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, leading workshops, shaping solution design, managing the functional backlog, and coordinating with offshore delivery teams. Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next is particularly important for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client conversations regarding marketing objectives, customer engagement, and Salesforce capabilities.
• Understand the client's broader business strategy and ensure the delivery team comprehends its objectives.
• Organise and facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and solution design sessions.
• Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Lead functional solution design across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Provide functional expertise in customer data, segmentation, personalisation, campaigns, and customer journeys.
• Own, manage, and prioritise the functional/product backlog.
• Produce clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Salesforce architects, developers, and other technical specialists throughout delivery.
• Coordinate effectively with offshore development and delivery teams.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support the programme through design, build, testing, deployment, and adoption phases.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Extensive Salesforce Marketing experience, with specific knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing discussions and translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
• Experience in leading workshops and shaping solution designs.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement, data segmentation, and campaign management.

Contract Details

This is an initial 6-month contract position, with potential for extension based on programme requirements. The role is full-time and requires onsite presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a major enterprise Salesforce transformation programme.
