About Consolidated Contractors Company

Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator to join its project team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and plays a critical role in ensuring contractual compliance and effective project execution.

Role Overview

The Senior Contracts Administrator will manage all contractual aspects of the project, from initial tender stages through to final account settlement and dispute resolution. This role requires a proactive approach to safeguard the company's interests, optimize contract profitability, and ensure adherence to all contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study tender documentation, including contract conditions, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities, to ascertain requirements and provide technical support on measurement and contractual issues, ensuring complete tender submissions.
  • Assist materials engineers by preparing bid packages with drawings and technical specifications to obtain accurate quotations for required materials.
  • Coordinate the take-off of quantities for all work carried out under the contract, either by measurement or from drawings, applying contract rates to prepare detailed claims for payment and final accounts.
  • Prepare detailed claims for payment in accordance with contract conditions, ensuring all claims are fully documented with supporting details.
  • Monitor the implementation of variation procedures, ensuring all variations are accurately estimated, authorized, and processed with relevant supporting documentation.
  • Maintain constant contact with the project team to ensure information flow and identify work outside the scope of the contract.
  • Advise clients on identified variations and negotiate their inclusion in the scope of work to protect CCC's position.
  • Advise Project Management on special requirements for contract-specified documentation, such as monthly payment certificates and variation orders, to ensure full compliance.
  • Coordinate re-measurement of Subcontract works, including agreeing on variation orders and payment certificates, and validating claims to be passed to the consultant.
  • Provide comprehensive guidance and advice to Project Management on all contractual issues, reviewing correspondence and advising on appropriate courses of action to protect CCC's interests and optimize contract profitability.
  • Participate in dispute resolution, seeking advice from the Legal Department when necessary, with the objective of protecting CCC's position and avoiding arbitration.
  • Recommend for approval and implement training and development programs to meet identified needs within the department and ensure capable personnel with relevant skills.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in contracts administration, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.

Work Location

This full-time position is based at our project site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves close collaboration with project teams and external stakeholders.
