Senior Android Engineer

HungerStation is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. Role Overview

The Senior Android Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions, ensuring they align with product requirements and industry best practices. This role involves active collaboration with the Product Team and other colleagues to deliver high-quality, functional software.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay informed on the latest software development methodologies to provide best-in-class solutions.
• Analyze product requirements to understand engineering needs, evaluate technical feasibility, estimate efforts, and propose solutions in collaboration with the Product Team.
• Assist in building development components and manage programming of solution components to accurately transform requirements into working software.
• Document all coding steps to ensure comprehensibility and facilitate future modifications and maintenance.
• Write unit, integration, and UI/Snapshot tests.
• Investigate and resolve issues and bugs through patches and other means.
• Collaborate with colleagues on code reviews and deliver corresponding reports.
• Perform functional and module testing to ensure the functionality of delivered solutions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on product development, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Android engineering. A proven ability to contribute significantly as an individual while also functioning effectively within a team is essential for this role.

This position is based in Riyadh and is offered on a temporary basis. The salary for this role will not be disclosed publicly.
