Senior Associate ICC Finance Operations

About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Associate, ICC Finance Operations to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring effective operations across billing, banking, cash flow, and reconciliation processes, alongside other accounting tasks. The position focuses on strengthening financial controls and supporting operational decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor billing accuracy, invoice generation, reconciliation, and timely submission.
• Ensure proper management of Accounts Receivable (AR), including collections, aging analysis, and dispute resolution.
• Oversee refund processes, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation.
• Track online, Point of Sale (POS), and cash transactions.
• Supervise co-payment processing for both cash and online transactions.
• Ensure POS transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, including bank, POS/online, and revenue vs. billing reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure secure handling of cash and non-cash payment channels.
• Coordinate with the internal banking operations team on transfers and reconciliation issues.

VAT Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare VAT workings for Smart Clinic transactions.
• Reconcile VAT workings with the Smart Clinic VAT General Ledger (GL).
• Reconcile revenue service, purchases, and VAT GL accounts.
• Coordinate VAT schedules submission to Headquarters (HQ).
• Support HQ in VAT return preparation and ZATCA Audit.
• Ensure E-Invoicing compliance at the Smart Clinic level.
• Monitor advance receipts and their VAT impact.

Inventory and Fixed Asset Management

• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and support in monthly inventory consumption computation.
• Supervise quarterly physical stock counts and report variances to HQ.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and support external auditors for annual stock count activities.
• Verify asset delivery and capitalization documents, coordinating with HQ.
• Oversee asset tagging and physical verification.
• Monitor asset movement within the Smart Clinic level.
• Report idle, damaged, or impaired assets in cooperation with operations teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance operations.
