About the Role

TestCrew | Quality Engineering & Software Testing is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer – Alibaba Cloud to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on professional services and managed services, requiring hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and strong cloud infrastructure fundamentals. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a specialization in either VMware VCF & Networking or DevOps, Kubernetes & Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure and landing zones.
• Execute cloud migrations, backup, disaster recovery, and recovery testing.
• Manage cloud networking, security, monitoring, and access controls.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments or manage VMware environments.
• Handle incidents, changes, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and support customer environments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, or virtualization.
• Hands-on production experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or others). Prior Alibaba Cloud experience is not mandatory.
• Practical experience with cloud deployment, configuration, migration, and disaster recovery.
• Strong Linux administration, Windows Server knowledge, and scripting skills.

• Expertise in at least one of the following specializations:

  • Option A – VMware VCF & Networking: VMware VCF, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, enterprise networking, hybrid connectivity, VM migration, and VMware-based disaster recovery solutions.
  • Option B – DevOps & Automation: Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/ACK), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Ansible, Helm, or GitOps tools.

Certifications

• Alibaba Cloud ACA Cloud Computing certification required within 60 days of joining.
• Alibaba Cloud ACP Cloud Computing certification required within 6 months of joining.
• AWS, Azure, VMware, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications are preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on delivering professional and managed cloud services to clients.
