Senior Cloud Security Architect Mandiant Cloud and Infrastructure

About the Role

Google is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect for the Mandiant Cloud and Infrastructure team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves partnering with organizations to navigate complex security transformations, particularly those transitioning critical workloads to cloud environments or managing fragmented multi-cloud infrastructures. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Context

As part of Mandiant’s Security Transformation Services (STS) team, the Senior Cloud Security Architect will operate directly on the frontlines of major enterprise cloud transformations. This involves working with clients who are either migrating from on-premises environments to cloud or dealing with inconsistent security controls, governance, and visibility across multi-cloud setups. The architect will serve as a technical advisor, translating threat realities into architectural blueprints, operating models, and roadmaps for both engineering teams and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority guiding clients through migrations from legacy on-premises datacenters to modern cloud environments.
• Rationalize and elevate sprawling, fragmented multi-cloud footprints, ensuring consistent security.
• Redesign cloud security architectures and modernize operational workflows, including SecOps, DevSecOps, identity governance, and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Enforce resilient security baselines aligned with Mandiant frontline threat intelligence.
• Bridge communication gaps between technical practitioners and senior management, educating client executives and business leaders on security transformation needs.
• Assist client teams in implementing pragmatic defensive controls such as Zero Trust access models, workload identity federation, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) guardrails, container/Kubernetes security, and cloud network micro-segmentation.
• Translate root causes from active breach investigations into long-term architectural uplifts and measurable mitigation programs.
• Produce actionable architectural blueprints, operating model frameworks, and executive-ready roadmaps.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in cloud security architecture.
• Experience operating directly on the frontlines of major enterprise cloud transformations is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of the challenges associated with cloud adoption.
