Senior Commercial Manager

About the Role

Gleeds is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position supports an iconic giga program and is suitable for a MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management professional with over 10 years of experience who aims to advance their career within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with Gleeds procedures.
• Engage with clients, and develop, grow, and maintain client relationships.
• Deliver high-quality post-contract commercial services.
• Provide senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues related to construction projects.
• Produce and present reports to clients.
• Advise Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• MRICS or FRICS Chartered qualification is required.
• Demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.
• Over 10 years of experience, including previous experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience working with a consultancy organization.
• Proven experience operating as a Senior Commercial Manager delivering giga building projects.
• Experience with giga-scale building projects, including hospitality.

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge and practical experience of post-contract commercial management.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
