Senior Compliance Specialist

About the Role

MISpay is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. The specialist will support the Compliance function in ensuring the organization operates in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.

Role Contribution

The Senior Compliance Specialist will contribute to regulatory reporting, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls, compliance monitoring, policy reviews, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves supporting the Compliance Manager in identifying and mitigating compliance risks across various functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable SAMA regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and support the submission of regulatory reports and compliance-related documentation.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of AML and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) controls and requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews and monitoring activities to identify potential regulatory gaps or compliance risks.
• Assist in reviewing and updating compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance risk assessments and follow up on identified issues and remediation actions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, reports, and documentation.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assist in assessing their impact on the company’s operations and policies.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to address compliance requirements, findings, and regulatory matters.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and requests for information.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports, presentations, and management updates for the Compliance Manager and senior management.
• Perform other compliance-related duties and projects as assigned by the Compliance Manager.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a compliance-related role.
• Sound regulatory knowledge relevant to the financial industry.
