About the Role

EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice is seeking a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager to join its growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting accounting projects within both the public and private sectors. Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager will work directly with a diverse range of clients across various industries to assess the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions, or other regulatory changes. Specific responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong internal and external networks.
• Reporting directly to Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners during the planning, execution, and wrap-up stages of FAAS engagements.
• Providing accounting advisory services to ensure compliance with IFRS and IPSAS standards.
• Assisting clients in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring they meet IFRS and IPSAS requirements.
• Providing guidance on the adoption of new accounting standards and their impact on financial reporting.
• Collaborating with clients to streamline their accounting processes and improve overall efficiency in financial reporting.
• Consulting with appropriate resources on complex accounting issues, ensuring FAAS work products meet client needs, are clear, accurate, and well-presented.
• Staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial accounting and reporting.
• Ensuring that work is of high quality, delivered in a timely fashion, and in compliance with EY policies.
• Working with other EY locations, service lines, and specialists to deliver a fully integrated service offering.
• Identifying and communicating relevant trends, developments, and key performance drivers to clients.
• Delivering effective execution of the FAAS service delivery framework, including supporting major transactions with strategic insights and financial advisory expertise.
