Senior Data Science Consultant Cards Marketing Analytics

About the Role

Hiresquad Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Consultant with a strong background in banking analytics, specifically within credit and debit card portfolios. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, requires leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and portfolio growth. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models to identify customer targeting opportunities, increase card spend, improve customer retention, and reduce churn.
• Design customer segmentation strategies for credit and debit card portfolios to support lifecycle marketing, personalization, and campaign optimization.
• Analyze marketing campaign performance across customer segments, products, channels, and behavioral patterns, providing actionable business insights.
• Design and execute test-and-learn frameworks, including A/B testing, control groups, campaign measurement methodologies, and post-campaign evaluations.
• Build scalable analytical models and dashboards to support data-driven business decisions.
• Collaborate with business, marketing, product, and technology teams to translate analytical findings into practical business solutions.
• Present analytical insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear reports, presentations, and visualizations.
• Ensure analytical models are explainable, validated, and aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Analytics Consulting.
• Strong domain expertise in the banking industry, with hands-on experience in credit card and debit card analytics.
• Proven experience in Marketing Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Customer Segmentation, Campaign Analytics, Portfolio Analytics, and Customer Behavior Analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SAS, and SQL.
• Experience working with large-scale banking datasets, including Customer Profiles, Card Transaction Data, Campaign Performance Data, and Customer Behavioral Data.
• Strong understanding of Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning Algorithms, Model Validation, and Performance Monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present analytical findings to senior business leaders.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Risk, and Data Management.
• Strong consulting mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, ownership, and commitment to timely delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently based in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah preferred).
• Prior experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC banking sector.
• Hands-on experience with card lifecycle analytics, including Customer Acquisition, Card Activation, Spend Growth, Customer Engagement, Retention, and Attrition Analysis.
• Experience with CRM platforms, campaign management systems, and marketing automation tools.
• Knowledge of advanced marketing analytics techniques such as A/B Testing, Uplift Modeling, Next Best Action (NBA), Offer Optimization, and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Modeling.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.

Work Environment

This is a client-facing consulting role requiring on-site presence in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Jeddah. The position is full-time and involves collaboration with various business, marketing, product, and technology teams.
