Senior Design Manager Planning and Design MAS

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager - Planning and Design to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This is a full-time position focused on overseeing design planning and implementation for various development projects within Qiddiya.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Planning and Design will be responsible for guiding the design process from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's master plan and strategic objectives. This role involves close coordination with design, development, and construction teams, as well as external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure the implementation of design guidelines for all development projects, in coordination with the Design Director.
• Oversee the development and successful implementation of design plans to achieve design goals for all assigned projects.
• Advise the leadership team on suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution, and contract administration, in coordination with the Design Director.
• Provide support to development project teams in creating design strategies to ensure efficient project completion.
• Support design, development, and construction teams regarding development schedules, budgets, and plans.
• Conduct periodic internal design reviews to ensure alignment with the overall plan and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Review design-related deliverables and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives.
• Ensure coordination among multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to maintain alignment with Qiddiya's master plan.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, contributing to the strategic development projects of Qiddiya.
