About the Role

TMC Middle East is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for a full-time, 6-month extendable contract. This role supports a leading technology organization based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates entirely remotely. The position requires deep expertise in OCI and a commitment to operating within compliance-driven environments.

Role Context

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of cloud infrastructure from day one. This role functions at the intersection of platform engineering, observability, and multi-cloud governance, providing significant impact within the organization's cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate OCI infrastructure components, including compute, VCN networking, security, Object/Block Storage, and IAM across KSA regions.
• Administer OCI-managed database services, specifically MySQL HeatWave, with disaster-recovery configuration.
• Own OCI tenancy governance, encompassing compartments, policies, quotas, budgets, and cost optimization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI, and manage Terraform state on OCI Object Storage backends.
• Maintain the Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic observability stack, and enforce NCA ECC/CCC and PDPL compliance controls.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud infrastructure.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Deep expertise in OCI core services and strong Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) skills using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and solid Linux/Windows Server administration, including scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Familiarity with Saudi regulatory cloud requirements, including NCA ECC/CCC and PDPL data residency.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup strategies, and workload migration.

Work Arrangement

This is a strictly remote, full-time contract position, with working days from Sunday to Thursday. Immediate joiners are preferred, and candidates with a notice period of up to 30 days are welcome to apply.
