The Role of Senior DevOps Engineer

Tabby is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and engaging with regulatory authorities such as the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA). The role requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems.
• Attend meetings with regulatory representatives and maintain professional communication.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance tasks within Saudi Arabia.
• Design scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Create a cloud platform suitable for running software services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Ensure smooth operation and participate in emergency response for infrastructure outages.
• Implement security hardening measures, including PCI-DSS compliance.
• Improve observability and monitoring systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience in DevOps practices.
• Hands-on familiarity with Linux for maintenance tasks.
• Experience with VMware, Citrix, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to identify regulatory requirements and communicate effectively with Saudi Arabia’s Central Bank.
