Senior Engagement Manager Professional Services

About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager, Professional Services, to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading AWS consultants, partners, and client teams to manage and deliver AWS cloud products and services. The focus of these professional services engagements is to help customers and partners leverage the full AWS platform, remove constraints, and accelerate their journey to AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects independently and contribute as part of larger teams.
• Own work streams from end-to-end, understanding customer outcomes, leading delivery teams, and managing customer expectations.
• Proactively handle risks and implement effective governance structures to deliver solutions aligned with customer business objectives.
• Communicate effectively with AWS team members, stakeholders, and customer counterparts.
• Drive customer satisfaction as a key objective.
• Embrace and apply Amazon Leadership Principles, engaging other teams for learning and sharing, and participating in recruitment and onboarding.
• Travel to client locations to deliver professional services as required.

A Day in the Life

AWS Professional Services engages in diverse projects, providing collective AWS customer experience and best practices to ensure customer success. The team collaborates across the AWS organization to provide access to product, service, and training teams, delivering appropriate solutions and driving feature innovations for customers across all industries. Engagement Managers assist customers in making decisions to meet technical and business objectives by offering best practices and proactively identifying and addressing project gaps.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through high-impact projects utilizing cloud infrastructure and platform technologies.
• Experience in managing and delivering cloud products and services.
• Ability to work on-site in various business environments.
