About the Role

Ejada is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves close collaboration with business leaders and project teams to enhance financial performance and strategic decision-making.

Role Purpose

The Senior Finance Business Partner translates complex financial and operational data into actionable plans and recommendations. The role is central to improving project profitability, cash flow, and overall performance by leading budgeting and forecasting processes, challenging commercial assumptions, and providing support for financially sound pricing, resource, and delivery decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders, project managers, Sales, Procurement, and Finance to assess the financial impact of operational, commercial, and resource decisions, challenging assumptions and providing clear recommendations.
  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning, utilizing key metrics such as backlog, pipeline conversion, billable headcount, utilization, billing rates, and delivery milestones.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and analyze actual performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, cash flow, and working capital; identify root causes, risks, and opportunities, and track corrective actions.
  • Review project financial performance, including revenue recognition, project costs, cost-to-complete, estimate-at-completion, margin movements, and provisions; provide scenario analysis and support project financial close-out.
  • Examine bids, pricing models, statements of work, change requests, and commercial terms to assess margins, cash flow, and financial risk, and address margin leakage resulting from scope changes, delivery delays, underutilization, or subcontractor costs.
  • Work with project and commercial teams to improve milestone acceptance, invoicing, and collections, and monitor unbilled revenue, contract assets, overdue receivables, and vendor commitments to enhance working capital.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or Commercial Finance.
  • CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is preferred.

Specific Skills and Industry Background

  • Hands-on experience in project profitability, project forecasting, pricing, and working capital management.
  • Experience in a project-based technology, professional services, or systems-integration environment.
