KBR's scope of services encompasses project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

The Role of Senior HSE Manager

As a Senior HSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and security performance across the entire program. This full-time position reports directly to the KBR Project Director and involves comprehensive oversight and management. The role is based across project sites in Al-Kharj and Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Health, Safety, Environmental & Security (HSE&S) management policy in conjunction with the client and issue corresponding guidelines to design consultants and contractors.
• Review HSE&S plans and procedures prepared by each design consultant and contractor to ensure compliance with project HSE&S policy.
• Support design consultants and contractors in the effective implementation of HSE&S policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of design consultants and contractors with respect to Health, Safety, Environment & Security.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to managers and professional staff within the program team on all HSE&S related matters.
• Prepare formal audit plans and carry out audits accordingly to assess compliance and performance.
• Interface directly with regulatory HSE bodies.
• Collate and report comprehensive Health, Safety, Environment & Security statistics.
• Develop and implement action plans, in collaboration with consultants and contractors, to continuously improve HSE&S performance.
• Ensure the KBR team's full compliance with KBR's internal HSE requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of overall professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar Senior HSE Manager role.
• A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the Middle East.
• Demonstrated experience with major projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Possession of a full driving license is mandatory.

A proven track record of successfully implementing and monitoring robust HSE&S frameworks on large-scale infrastructure projects is essential.
