The Opportunity: Senior Internal Auditor

Salehiya Healthcare is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for diligently conducting audit procedures in accordance with the Internal Audit Manual. The Senior Internal Auditor will support the audit management team in executing the risk-based audit plan, assessing the effectiveness of organizational controls, and ensuring proper risk management, operational efficiency, and compliance across the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audit procedures based on assessment criteria as outlined in the approved audit program.
• Perform walkthroughs, interviews, document reviews, and surveys, preparing comprehensive working papers.
• Identify and assess risks pertinent to the specific area or process under review.
• Document auditee processes and procedures for the areas being audited.
• Select appropriate samples and execute substantive testing and analytical procedures relevant to the review area.
• Document the results of audit procedures, ensuring all necessary supporting documents are in place as audit evidence.
• Draft audit findings and recommendations, collaborating with the Audit Supervisor for review and consolidation.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of audit reports to management.
• Support the Audit Supervisor with audit follow-up activities by testing management's implemented actions.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for the Senior Internal Auditor position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit. The role requires a professional committed to continuous development of internal audit skills through ongoing professional development in the audit field.
