Mace Group, recognized for its expertise in combining construction with consultancy, is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to contribute to a significant programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work on one of the region's largest projects, focusing on a unique mixed-use development that includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and comprehensive associated infrastructure.

Role Overview

The Senior Logistics Manager will be instrumental in developing and implementing the programme-wide logistics strategy. This involves overseeing the entire lifecycle for the manufacture, transportation, storage, and installation of large-scale modular units, prefabricated structures, and construction pods across the project site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of the programme-wide logistics strategy for modular units, prefabricated structures, and construction pods.
  • Plan and manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle, from off-site fabrication to final on-site assembly, ensuring integration with programme milestones and construction sequencing.
  • Oversee the movement of oversized, heavy, and abnormal loads, including route studies, transport permits, marine transport (where applicable), escort requirements, and regulatory approvals.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and project controls teams to align module readiness, delivery schedules, and installation activities with project objectives.
  • Establish and manage logistics hubs, temporary storage areas, laydown yards, and assembly zones for safe and efficient material handling and module staging.
  • Supervise heavy-lift and critical transportation planning, collaborating with specialist contractors on lift studies, transportation methodologies, and execution plans.
  • Monitor logistics performance using KPIs, dashboards, and reporting processes to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with project logistics standards, traffic management plans, health and safety requirements, environmental obligations, and all applicable regulatory approvals.
  • Engage with contractors, authorities, transport providers, module fabricators, and key stakeholders to manage interfaces and resolve logistics challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Extensive logistics leadership experience across major infrastructure, industrial, or giga-project programmes.
  • Proven track record of delivering modularization and off-site construction projects at scale.
  • Expertise in heavy-haul logistics, lifting operations, and managing multi-stakeholder programme environments.

Experience Level

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
