The Role of Senior Logistics Supervisor

Autobia is seeking a Senior Logistics Supervisor to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations within their assigned city's preparation center. This full-time role involves managing the entire process from receiving parts from suppliers to their final delivery to customers. The position is primarily executive and field-based, requiring prompt decision-making under operational pressure and the ability to establish discipline and efficiency in a dynamic work environment. The role is available in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead inbound logistics, including daily planning of pickup trips, task assignment for pickup representatives, and follow-up on overdue purchase orders.
• Manage outbound logistics, involving daily planning of delivery routes, selecting appropriate channels (internal fleet or shipping companies), and tracking shipments until delivery confirmation.
• Directly supervise the field team, including drivers and pickup/delivery agents, covering shifts, training on procedures, load distribution, and performance evaluation.
• Manage daily operational relationships with shipping companies, monitoring service level compliance, and handling claims for delays, damage, or loss.
• Monitor and reduce delivery costs per trip, enhance fleet utilization efficiency, and control fuel and maintenance expenses.
• Manage Cash on Delivery (COD) by performing daily reconciliation with the system and addressing discrepancies immediately.
• Handle exceptions such as failed deliveries, returns, and rescheduling.
• Prepare daily performance reports for inbound and outbound logistics against plans, utilizing monitoring dashboards for decision-making.
• Coordinate continuously with procurement, supplier relations, and customer success teams for customer-impacting cases.
• Standardize logistics procedures across locations, develop coverage plans for peak times, and assist in setting up new locations during expansion.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Proven capability to create discipline and efficiency in a dynamic operational environment.

Work Location

This role is based in either Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
