Senior Manager Cost Planning Master Development

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company | شركة قدية الاستثمارية is seeking an experienced and analytical individual to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, as a Senior Manager - Cost Planning - Master Development. This full-time role is essential for establishing a world-class entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building construction costs, developing and overseeing pre-contract cost management strategies, and ensuring financial alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a proactive approach to cost planning by understanding the cost vs. value equation to ensure optimal financial outcomes without compromising project goals.
• Oversee the monthly tracker for scope and cost movements from previous phases.
• Assist in reviewing cost plans submitted by Cost Consultants for accuracy and design alignment.
• Monitor and analyze design efficiencies as the project progresses.
• Ensure that third-party Cost Consultants adhere to defined scope of work, guidelines, and procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to defined policies and processes, maintaining a thorough understanding of IPMS measurement guidelines.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Qiddiya's established policies, processes, and templates.
• Provide internal updates to the Business Unit on the status of construction costs and design metrics.
• Ensure representation during internal reviews to facilitate progress and successfully pass through Stage Gates.
• Understand benchmarking to effectively integrate design metrics with cost positions, ensuring assurance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Maintain awareness of feasibility requirements with regards to cost planning.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess relevant experience in cost planning and management within large-scale development projects. The role requires a professional with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to financial oversight.

• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven analytical capabilities in cost planning and financial management.
• Experience in overseeing pre-contract cost management strategies.
