Qiddiya is a leading entertainment, sports, and cultural destination in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. As a key driver of Vision 2030, Qiddiya is undertaking ambitious development projects that require robust governance and oversight. This full-time role is based in Riyadh.

The Role: Senior Manager - Development Audit

The Senior Manager - Development Audit will lead and manage the audit function specifically for development projects within Qiddiya. This critical position ensures adherence to corporate policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. The role focuses on strengthening the control environment, optimizing processes, and supporting Qiddiya’s strategic development objectives through comprehensive audit and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute risk-based audits across all capital project activities.
  • Review governance frameworks, operational processes, and control environments related to development functions, including design and delivery.
  • Evaluate cost-related practices and financial controls within capital projects.
  • Assess alignment with approved policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Identify key risks and translate them into clear audit observations and actionable recommendations.
  • Engage effectively with relevant stakeholders to support audit execution and follow-up activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Support overall audit planning, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function.
  • Assist with capability building and knowledge sharing across the Internal Audit team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Governance, Project Management, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant audit experience, preferably gained within large-scale development or construction projects, capital projects, consulting, or advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience managing audit teams.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of project governance, delivery processes, and cost management principles.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Governance & Procurement Assurance, including cost planning, tender evaluation, contract management, and claims processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and adapt in a fast-paced, complex project environment.
