The Role of Part-time Audit Manager

First Advisory for Consulting is seeking a Part-time Audit Manager to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, on a project basis. This role is central to overseeing the audit department, managing audit engagements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. There is a potential for this position to transition into a full-time role, contingent upon obtaining full licensing, demonstrated performance, and business requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Undertake and direct fieldwork for audit engagements, overseeing engagement economics and monitoring team progress against established budgets.
• Plan comprehensive audit strategies, evaluate internal controls, and thoroughly document complex, higher-risk areas.
• Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and disclosures, then draft and finalize reports outlining business issues and control recommendations.
• Train, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to junior team members and associates, fostering their professional development.
• Maintain productive, year-round relationships with client personnel, assess client satisfaction, and effectively resolve audit queries.
• Assess financial risks and ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in audit.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee audit departments and supervise junior staff.
• Strong understanding of financial risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in undertaking and managing audit engagements from planning to reporting.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a part-time position, compensated on a per-project basis. The role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
