Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis

About the Role

Olayan Saudi Holding Company is seeking a Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities, contributing to strategic decision-making and financial performance optimization.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and develop a team of financial analysts. The Senior Manager will provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and enhance team productivity, ensuring the team effectively supports the company's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's financial planning and forecasting processes, collaborating with departments and senior management to prepare accurate short-term and long-term financial forecasts.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including coordination and consolidation of departmental budgets, monitoring actual performance against targets, and conducting variance analysis.
• Supervise the preparation of comprehensive financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual), analyze financial data for trends, and present results and KPIs to senior management.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning, conducting financial and sensitivity analysis.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), developing dashboards and reports to monitor performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, executive leadership) to gather data, understand business requirements, and provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Coach the team on compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies, identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to enhance team productivity and professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of financial professionals.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
