The Opportunity: Senior Manager of Public Policy, MENA

Roblox is seeking a Senior Manager of Public Policy, MENA to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is instrumental in developing and implementing an engagement strategy with key policymakers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Public Policy, EMEA, and play a critical part in shaping Roblox's future in the region by establishing and executing effective public policy strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build relationships with regional policymakers and political figures.
• Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in MENA, including gaming, child safety, artificial intelligence, privacy, and consumer protection.
• Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox's business and priorities.
• Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Advise Roblox internal stakeholders on policy matters to inform product development and business operations.
• Articulate Roblox’s public policy positions and produce briefing papers and consultation responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or a related field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in the MENA region.
• Deep knowledge of the MENA policymaking and public opinion processes.
• Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, and cross-functional partnership.
