The Role: Senior Marketing Manager (Poultry)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager (Poultry) to join its Protein Business Unit in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for leading the growth and strategic direction of the Poultry category. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping long-term brand strategy, strengthening market positioning, and driving category performance within a competitive and expanding segment of the food industry. This role requires a leader with strong industry experience, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

As the senior leader for Poultry marketing, the responsibilities include:

  • Driving the creation of a structured Strategic Brand Framework to guide future brand decisions.
  • Overseeing the development of 5-year strategic plans, annual operating plans, and consumer-driven insights to support innovation, communication, and commercial execution.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strong alignment and end-to-end business delivery.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing marketing team, focusing on capability growth, robust performance management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in branded FMCG, with a preference for experience within the Poultry or wider Protein industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver commercial results, supported by strong financial and strategic acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performance teams.

  • Strong capability in strategic brand planning, annual operating plans, and consumer insight analysis.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills, effective across cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, organized, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving and leadership attributes.
