The Opportunity: Senior Marketing Specialist

Shory is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to leading the development and execution of Shory's marketing strategy within the Saudi market. The specialist will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and business growth through integrated marketing initiatives, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include localizing the company's marketing approach, managing strategic campaigns, supporting product launches, and overseeing external agency partners to establish a scalable marketing function aligned with long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a localized marketing strategy aligned with Shory's commercial objectives and growth plans in Saudi Arabia.
• Build and strengthen Shory's brand presence through integrated online and offline marketing initiatives.
• Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, PR, partnerships, events, and brand activations.
• Develop and deliver go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and business initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external creative, media, branding, and PR agencies, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of spend and measurable return on investment.
• Monitor campaign performance, customer insights, and market trends to optimize marketing effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, Technology, and Leadership teams to ensure marketing initiatives support broader business goals.
• Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, and customer experience across all channels and touchpoints.
• Support the development and growth of the marketing function, contributing to team building and future capability expansion.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies within the Saudi market.
• Strong background in technology, fintech, digital banking, travel tech, or other high-growth digital businesses.
• Experience leading product launches, brand development, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing external agencies and sizeable marketing budgets.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Data-driven mindset with experience measuring campaign performance and optimizing marketing ROI.
• Hands-on approach, balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
