About the Role

Jobstronaut is supporting a client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in their search for a Senior PL/SQL Developer – ODS. This is a full-time position dedicated to developing and maintaining robust data solutions within an Operational Data Store (ODS) environment.

Role Purpose

The Senior PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL code to support critical data processing and management functions. This role is integral to ensuring the efficiency and integrity of the client's data infrastructure, particularly within their ODS and data warehousing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-performance PL/SQL code for data processing and integration.
• Work extensively within ODS and Data Warehouse environments, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize existing Oracle SQL/PL/SQL queries and procedures for improved performance and scalability.
• Ensure adherence to data security standards and SAMA compliance requirements in all development activities.
• Contribute to ETL processes and potentially CI/CD pipelines to streamline data operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery within the Saudi Arabian market.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 7+ years of strong PL/SQL development experience.
• Excellent proficiency in Oracle SQL/PL/SQL.
• Proven experience working with ODS/Data Warehouse environments.
• Mandatory project experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Solid understanding of data security principles and SAMA compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) practices.
