The Senior Planning Officer Role

Almarai is seeking a dedicated Senior Planning Officer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring that inventory levels across all sales depots consistently align with the established inventory policy for every active SKU. The role involves meticulous monitoring, analysis, and strategic planning to optimize stock availability and minimize waste.

Core Planning Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels across all sales depots to ensure adherence to inventory policies.
• Analyze sales trends to develop and maintain an effective stock replenishment plan.
• Identify aging of stocks to proactively reduce the expiry of products within depots.
• Suggest and submit consolidated planned orders for stock replenishment to CPP for confirmation.

Operational Oversight and Reporting

• Offload CPP approved replenishment stocks into the SAP system.
• Monitor CPP confirmed orders in coordination with sales depots.
• Generate comprehensive service level reports.
• Generate weekly reports detailing reefer turnaround delays.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Senior Planning Officer position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in planning, inventory management, or a similar analytical role within a fast-paced environment.
