The Role of Senior Procurement Manager

Mace is seeking a Saudi National Senior Procurement Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves working on a large luxury mixed-use development, where Mace is providing project management consultancy services. The role focuses on leading procurement activities to deliver commercial value and ensure performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead category management and relationship development to achieve commercial value and performance excellence.
• Provide leadership to teams, ensuring appropriate structures, tools, and responsibilities are in place to meet objectives.
• Conduct due diligence and market analysis to inform planning and decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement plans, embedding processes and monitoring delivery through team members.
• Drive performance management, talent development, and coaching, while influencing senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate towards the goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Professional qualifications including CIPS and relevant industry certifications.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in high-value, complex tenders.
• Proven negotiation skills at executive and client levels.
• Solid construction and market knowledge, with main contractor experience.
