The Role of Senior Project Manager

Lakeora is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage client relationships and ensure the smooth progression of engagements. This full-time role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, handling escalations, driving approvals, and ensuring all deliverables are met. The Senior Project Manager acts as a crucial link between client stakeholders and Lakeora's technical team and leadership, aiming to build client trust and foster engagement expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the client relationship throughout the engagement lifecycle, from kickoff to delivery and handover.
• Oversee scope, timelines, and resourcing for one or more concurrent client engagements.
• Address escalations directly, ensuring alignment between client stakeholders and the Lakeora team.
• Administer approval workflows, including scope sign-offs, change requests, milestone acceptance, and deliverable reviews.
• Maintain engagement documentation, such as Statements of Work (SOWs), status reports, meeting notes, decision logs, and delivery artifacts.
• Lead steering committee and status meetings, translating technical progress into business language for client leadership.
• Monitor engagement health, including budget, burn rate, risks, and dependencies, and address issues proactively.
• Coordinate with data engineers, platform engineers, and solutions architects to maintain delivery schedules.
• Identify opportunities for follow-on work and expansion within client accounts, collaborating with the team to develop them.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in project management.
