The Role of Senior Projects Manager

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of fast-track fit-out projects from inception to completion. The Senior Projects Manager ensures projects meet client requirements, are financially viable, and are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. While the KSA office is located in Riyadh, projects are undertaken across the country, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Projects Manager's responsibilities are divided into pre-contract, project planning, and project execution phases:

• Pre-contract: Contribute to business development strategy, research and build client relationships, attend industry functions, and supervise the tendering process.
• Project Planning: Identify stakeholders, plan communications, develop project management plans and schedules, define activities, plan procurement, and identify and plan risk management.
• Project Execution: Specify project objectives (scope, budgeting, scheduling, performance requirements, sub-contractor selection), interface with project teams for resource utilization, implement operations through coordination of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction. Maintain accurate records, oversee construction sites, manage vendors and trades, provide site operation updates, maintain client communication, direct and manage project execution, acquire and manage the project team, conduct procurement, distribute project information, perform quality assurance and control, manage local municipality and government approvals, verify and control scope and cost changes, control invoicing and final accounting, and monitor and control risks.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

• Over 10 years of experience as a successful leader in project management within fit-out contracting businesses.
• Proven ability to manage single or multiple projects from award through implementation to handover.
• Strong technical and commercial abilities.
• Good knowledge of the latest developments and trends in the fit-out market.
