Senior Projects Manager

About the Role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of fast-track fit-out projects from inception to completion. The primary objective is to deliver financially viable projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, meeting client requirements across various sectors.

Established in 1998, Havelock One Interiors is a leading turnkey fit-out service provider in the Middle East. The company specializes in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings. Due to expansion in the key growth market of Saudi Arabia, Havelock One Interiors is appointing experienced leaders to advance its business. While the KSA office is in Riyadh, projects are undertaken across the country, requiring flexibility and adaptability from candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Work towards the creation and execution of business development strategies in line with company goals.
• Research and build relationships with new clients, attending industry functions and providing market feedback.
• Supervise the end-to-end tendering process.
• Identify stakeholders and plan communications, developing comprehensive project management plans and schedules.
• Ensure activities are clearly defined for all stakeholders and plan procurement in line with project schedules.
• Identify risks and plan risk management and responses.
• Specify project objectives and plans, including scope delineation, budgeting, scheduling, performance requirements, and subcontractor selection.
• Interface with the project team to share best practices and ensure effective resource utilization (labor, materials, equipment).
• Implement various operations through coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction.
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress and oversee construction sites, managing vendors and trades.
• Analyze and share regular updates on site operations with relevant stakeholders, maintaining good communication with clients.
• Direct and manage project execution, ensuring all works are monitored, coordinated, and controlled.
• Acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
• Conduct and administer procurement, distribute project information, and perform quality assurance and control.
• Manage all local municipality and government approvals required for project operation and handover.
• Verify and control changes in scope and costs, control project invoicing and final accounting, and monitor and control risks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage single or multiple projects from award through implementation to handover.
• Strong technical and commercial abilities.
• Good knowledge of the KSA market, including client, subcontractor, and supplier networks, is preferred.
• Successful track record working on projects such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education.
• Good knowledge of the latest developments in the fit-out market, including current trends and news influencing the market.
