Taib, established in 2018, is a leading home healthcare company in Saudi Arabia, accredited by CBAHI and a subsidiary of BLOMINVEST. We provide comprehensive home healthcare services in Riyadh, including medical consultations, nursing care, chronic disease management, and post-hospitalization support. We are seeking a Senior Registrar Family Medicine (Home Healthcare) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Registrar provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care within the home healthcare setting. This role focuses on preventive, acute, and chronic care, encompassing patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, health education, and coordination of multidisciplinary care. The Senior Registrar is crucial in identifying high-risk patients, preventing complications and avoidable hospital admissions, and ensuring continuity of care through evidence-based clinical practice, personalized care plans, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments during home visits and virtual consultations, including complete patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of Family Medicine practice.
  • Identify high-risk patients and initiate timely interventions to prevent complications, hospital admissions, and unnecessary emergency department visits.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, referrals, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient feedback, and health outcomes.
  • Coordinate referrals and consultations with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, escalating cases appropriately when higher-level care is required.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, medication adherence, and preventive care.
  • Utilize telehealth and video conferencing platforms for virtual consultations, patient assessments, follow-up, and education.
  • Ensure accurate, evidence-based, and timely documentation of assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

Quality, Compliance, and Professional Development

  • Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, clinical governance frameworks, and accreditation standards.
  • Practice according to approved clinical guidelines and organizational policies, participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
  • Participate in continuing medical education (CME), workshops, conferences, and clinical training programs.
  • Utilize Health Information Systems (HIS), electronic health records, and telemedicine platforms effectively.
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up, in compliance with Ministry of Health requirements.

Collaboration and Patient Focus

  • Apply patient safety principles and clinical risk management practices, identifying and reporting patient safety risks, clinical incidents, and adverse events.
  • Provide compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care, communicating clearly with patients and families and addressing concerns professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and accountability, facilitating effective communication regarding patient status, needs, referrals, and care plans.
  • Support the integration and continuity of care across the multidisciplinary home healthcare team.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess a strong background in Family Medicine. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required. The role demands up-to-date knowledge of Family Medicine, home healthcare, population health, and evidence-based clinical practice, along with proficiency in utilizing health information systems and telemedicine platforms.
