About the Role

Bank of Jordan is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing a portfolio of large and strategic corporate clients within Saudi Arabia, acting as a senior banking advisor. The position is central to driving revenue, profitability, and wallet-share growth, as well as originating complex transactions across various financing and transaction-banking products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen strategic relationships with large corporate clients.
  • Build relationships with senior executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers.
  • Develop and execute detailed client strategies and account plans.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and wallet-share growth.
  • Originate new relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead complex lending, structured financing, trade, cash management, and treasury opportunities.
  • Lead senior client meetings, pitches, negotiations, and proposals.
  • Coordinate complex credit applications, financial analysis, and facility structuring.
  • Work with Credit and Risk departments to identify and mitigate key risks.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, profitability, utilization, and limits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal product partners and external stakeholders.
  • Provide market and sector intelligence to management.
  • Ensure compliance with SAMA, KYC, AML, legal, compliance, and internal requirements.
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to the overall Corporate Banking strategy.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Significant experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, complex credit facilities, and business development.
  • Preferably, experience with a leading Saudi, regional, or international bank operating in KSA.
  • Strong corporate banking and credit-analysis expertise.
  • Proven track record of originating and executing corporate transactions.
  • Strong senior-client relationship and negotiation capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of the Saudi corporate market and key economic sectors.
  • Good understanding of SAMA requirements and the regulatory environment.
  • Strong commercial and risk judgment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
