Senior Risk Manager Rail

About the Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Risk Manager for Rail to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading and delivering risk management performance across assigned commissions, contributing to the expansion of Mace's rail capability in the Middle East as investment in integrated transport accelerates across the region. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver risk management performance for assigned commissions, including the development and implementation of effective risk frameworks and strategies.
• Direct clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all risk-related matters, building professional relationships and meeting client expectations.
• Provide expert guidance on risk processes, ensuring effective identification, assessment, escalation, and management of risks impacting key project objectives.
• Facilitate and lead risk workshops, collaborating with project managers to identify opportunities, mitigation strategies, and minimize overall risk exposure.
• Ensure risk mitigation plans are developed, ownership is assigned, and actions are tracked and integrated into project plans.
• Lead the delivery of quantitative risk analysis for cost and schedule, including assessment of contingency adequacy within regular reporting cycles.
• Produce and present comprehensive risk reports to both clients and internal teams, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and relevant legislation.
• Manage and mentor team members, support resource planning and recruitment, integrate risk with planning and PMO functions, and promote sustainability objectives including carbon reduction.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

• Proven experience delivering major rail or infrastructure programs in complex, fast-paced environments.
