Key Responsibilities

• Review and inspect work areas to identify potential safety hazards.
• Observe staff on site to ensure consistent use of personal protective equipment, hard hats, and protective footwear.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated safely and KEO's safety policies are adhered to.
• Conduct daily project inspections to ensure compliance and recommend necessary changes.
• Investigate accidents during emergencies, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents.
• Develop and implement safety policies aimed at reducing accident-related costs.
• Regulate safety policies with input from managers and workers.
• Provide safety training to KEO staff in accordance with OSHA requirements.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a safety officer role.
