About the Role

TK Elevator is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing key client relationships. The role involves delivering tailored elevator and escalator solutions for a diverse range of commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects. The Senior Sales Engineer will act as a crucial link, combining technical expertise with consultative sales acumen to bridge communication between developers, architects, consultants, and internal engineering and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate leads and pipeline opportunities across New Installations (NI), Modernization (MOD), and Service/Maintenance contracts.
  • Participate in tenders, prepare comprehensive commercial proposals, and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Act as the primary contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Adhere to all company safety and compliance rules throughout all activities.

Sales and Client Engagement

  • Meet with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand their specific requirements.
  • Present appropriate solutions effectively to secure sales.
  • Negotiate the terms of agreements and successfully close sales.
  • Gather relevant market and customer information to inform sales strategies.
  • Represent the organization professionally at trade exhibitions, industry events, and product demonstrations.

Technical Support and Project Coordination

  • Develop a deep understanding of TKE products and provide technical support to the Sales team during the design phase of projects.
  • Maintain and timely update necessary entries on the VIEW System.
  • Conduct proper analysis for project stages, forecasted VT package awards, and probability of winning bids.
  • Carry out Traffic Analysis, determine all necessary dimensions to support consultants during design, and advise appropriate solutions professionally.
  • Calculate material costs based on existing calculation tools or by coordinating with the factory.
  • Based on material costs, calculate total project costs, including local expenses (installation, local materials, etc.), and prepare comprehensive client quotations.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including Installation, Projects, Finance, and Safety, to prepare all necessary information for quotation and tender submissions, such as arranging bonds and special approvals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the elevator and escalator industry or a related construction field.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise combined with strong consultative sales acumen.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive revenue growth.
